Geez, just the other day I was accusing you all of being a quiet bunch. Guess I need to reevaluate that.
I think there are more out there like me who are quite lurkers. I just couldn't take it any more.
Minitee: between ASKMINI and the OL i wasn't quite sure which ship it was on. But thanks to the golden numbe AndyWSea gave, the trucking company told me it was delivered on the 24th.
And I think comparatively, looking at other production week threads, we are pretty talkative!
I confess I'm a week 16 person, but since my MINI spent two weeks hanging around the docks in Southhampton, I'm 'stuck' with all you 18ers. Thanks for making me feel welcome.
I maybe a little confused, but isn't Lompoc like a stones throw from Oxnard?
Yeah, in about the same way that San Francisco is a stones throw from San Jose. But, the kicker for me is that it's further away from the I-5 and there isn't really a good way to get back to the I-5 from Lompoc. Once you go from Oxnard to Lompoc, you've pretty much committed yourself to taking the 101 (or PCH) north.
I had to look at a map. It is a ways up there. I wonder if there is a south bay dealer that gets' first crack at delivery. Shorter route for the truck.
