We're just forgotten I'm afraid...you don't think they would fib us on the completion date would they? ASKMINI told me today that they I should know something definitely by 5/1 -- the day my MCS is complete. I've seen on other threads that they update where your car is in the production process (i.e., body shop, paint shop, etc...) but that doesn't seem to be happening with any of us. OK, I'm done wigging.

They've been saying the same thing to me and still nada.
No completion date? Wouldn't they know when your MCS will be done if it is going to be complete by next week?
All of this doesn't make a shred of sense to me. Why is week 18 so neglected? Why don't they tell us? Why don't they update the darn automated system? AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

I agree the NYK website is useless.
I wasn't on a WW ship, but judging by other posts, it seems to be excellent. Just don't get excited about being booked on a particular ship, wait until the WW status shows loaded.

In a number of other order tracking threads I've seen, only one WW ship going to Port Hueneme was reported as having MINIs on it, out of maybe 10 WW ships shown as being scheduled for the PH run in that time span. There is always the possibility of change, and for the better tracking I wish all of us could go via WW ships, but this is has been my observation.

OK, spoke to a very nice guy @ ASKMINI just now and he says my MCS is in the body shop, started today and I should be in the paint shop by Friday -- keeping my fingers crossed.
He says that production continues over the w/e but that the system doesn't get updated during that time.
OK -- progress. Doug's is the cust rep guy's name. He listened. He researched. He rocks!
I'm whole again until we get loaded on the boat -- whichever one that is.

That super duper sucks.
Doug the cust rep said that even though it was projected back around 4/14 that production was ahead of schedule, a MINI probably got held up in production -- mostly to due to customer-last-minute-option-changes -- probably why you don't know anything yet.
One stalled MINI holds up others MINI production -- MINI Bottlenecking
