Orion Leader - S. Hampton to Pt. Hueneme

Anybody out there going to the west coast via the Orion Leader. My Mini is on board and wondering who else might be tagging along. I must say it's darn near impossible to get any info in-transit on the NYK ships. Anybody else had any luck.

My MA was able to tell me that [SIZE=2]our MINI S Conv. entered the production line on the 29th of March, and it's final quality inspection was performed on the 6th of April. It was released to the Port of South Hampton, and was loaded on the Orion Leader, courtesy of NYK. He gave us the BL# and the voyage number is HW4VOY55OX. It's expected to arrive in California on May 12th, and about 3 weeks (give or take) after that Northwest Mini expects to recieve it so they can Pre-Delivery Inspect it, detail it, install any accessories.

Also, so far in my experience, NW MINI seems to overestimate their times. Hopefully this will be the case for your new S!

I tried desperately to track the NYK Phoenix Leader when my Mini came over last month without luck. I never tried calling NYK directly, but they did not respond to emails.

The only schedule they have is here but I could not find the ship:

It took 11 days for the ship to make it to panama and went through the canal on the 12th day. So You may want to check the canal tracking and webcams 11-12 days after departure

Let's hope you are right on that. I wouldn't have a problem with it being here sooner that's for sure!

Thanks for all of the info Bolus. NYK sure doesn't seem to have the great tracking and customer service that WW seems to have. Oh well, it will get here eventually. It's just fun trying to unravel the mysteries along the way!
