Hi everyone, I'm Cindy and I just ordered my 2006 MCS on Sunday 5/14.

I have waited 4 long years to get this car... I was supposed to get it after my hubby's 6 month deployment to the Persian Gulf from 12/04 to 6/05 (he's AD Coast Guard) but it was put on hold due to some unforeseen circumstances. He headed back in December 2005 for a one year deployment and told me I could get it when he got back. I guess he got tired of me constantly talking abouts MINIS so he told me to go ahead and order it! If hr only knew what he's in for once it's here... Muahahahaha!

So now the wait begins. I guess it's a good thing I'm a military wife because I am pretty good at waiting.

Welcome and congratulations on the order! I know you'll love your new car! And since you and your MINI will have had at least two months of one-on-one time before your hubby returns, do you think you might let him drive it once in a while after his deployment ends?

Welcome to NAM!! Wanting one for 4 years, same here. After you order, the anticipation grows every day.
I finally got mine in Feb. but must say all seems trivial when compared to what your husband (and you) are doing. Please pass along my personal deep appreciation for what he (and again you) are doing for our country.
