New MINI owner
Hello,
I've loved these cars for years and wanted one for just as long. Last Saturday I was finally able to buy one. Shopping took awhile as I only wanted the British racing green color and there sure are not a lot to be found.
She's a 2003, 5-speed with 49k miles. I bought a 4 year / 48k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty as well.
Here's a few pics...

Thanks anon0mus. The British racing green was the only color I wanted, it took a while to find one but the waiting paid off.
I took her into the shop this morning for some minor repairs. Service engine light came on the other day, the fuel gauge sometimes does not rise and stays at empty even with a fuel tank, and the fuel door little button latch does not work. Mostly minor stuff but trying to get it all done while under the 30 day no questions asked warranty.
One thing is for certin, I've never enjoyed driving this much...ever.

Welcome! I'm not sure where in So Cal you are, but there are several clubs you might want to check out. In the LA area - www.scmm.org and in the San Diego area - www.westcoastminiclub.org.
Nice BRG you got there..

Thanks everyone.
She spent the day at Irvine MINI here in SoCal for some warranty work. They fixed a rattle in the dash, fixed the gas door (it wouldn't latch closed), replaced an oxygen sensor and a fuel sensor of some sort. Not sure of the exact details just yet, but, I get to pick her up first thing in the morning.
