How is a Mini for a long commute?

If you're looking to drive it to the ground then who cares how many miles you put on it? Buy it for fun and replace it when it's to expensive to fix. My thought is that the fun factor will make the too expensive to fix point pretty high though

Well I just did it last week. Purchased an '04 MCS in Cape Coral, Florida, and drove it back to Texas in 2 days, no problems with comfort. It is now my daily driver and my 4x4 F250 Powerstroke is docked in our driveway. I picked the car up with less than 5,000 miles on it and this morning I turned 6,700.
I travel about 50 miles to and from work each day, sometimes in traffic. The car is very comfortable. It has the sport seats and the HK stereo which helps any commute.
GO FOR IT, YOU WON"T BE SORRY!
