Just got my Royal Grey with Silver MCS

Holy Snikeys! this car is a gas!!!!! It just wants to go and go and go. I now have my own private amusement park. I hate not being in it. I've been taking it out every night for the past week. It loves to runnnnnnnnnn!!!!!! I wanted to post some pics but not sure how since this is my 1st post. Also, I have been known to "not" read directions. It's a visceral thing I guess. No stimulation, then I lose interest quickly. Not ADD but more like INMC (I need my Cooper). Anywho, if someone can enlighten me on how to post some pics, i will be happy to post some.

Thanks,

Beautiful new MINI!

bully,
  • open up a second window and go to NAM.
  • go to your gallery, click on the photo you wish to post
  • right-click on it to copy its URL
  • copy that URL
  • when you post, click on the icon with the little mountains
  • a pop-up menu will open with "http" showing
  • delete the "http" and paste in the URL from the photo in your gallery
I hope that makes sense!

Our cars are exterior twins!!!

However, the rally lights are being installed this weekend.

Obviously I think you have a fantastic looking car!

Your car looks good!......website too. I think the royal grey is the best color I've seen. That's my biased opinion.

bullydog,
that is a nice looking car. If you think it runs snappy now, do not hesitate to put a 15% reduced pulley on the Supercharger. It is almost like an entirely different car - accelerates and builds revs MUCH faster.

Do you have a particular name brand/model you would recommend. Also, does anyone know of an aftermarket shop for mini mod's in the northern VA area?

I had to go with the Chrono so I could have the speedometer in front of me. But with that said, I like the classic gauges better. (center speedometer)

Floor Mats

become1,

I received the car on Memorial Day so the dealerships parts dept. was closed. Therefore they had to ship me the standard "MINI" floor mats but in the interim I bought these mats at a Pep Boys....... I cut the drivers side mat to fit better. Surprisingly it didnt come out too bad. I'm still using them even though the "MINI" mats arrived days ago.

That's too funny. I was seriously considering the Pepper White with Blk top/mirrors as an alternate choice. I guess great minds do think alike.....
