Expected Build completion June 11th, then 4 weeks delivery...
I called 866-ASKMINI and found some good and bad news.
The good news is I have a build date and a target for delivery.
Delivery ranges between 4-6 weeks to NJ...
So may be driving my new mini around Mid July!
The not so good news.
Instead of leatherette (which the motoring manager pursuaded me into getting) the Space Gray leather was ordered.
Instead of all season tires, performance tires are packaged. I already have two other wheelsets with performance tires.
Definitely not deal breakers but it gave me a chance to speak with ASKMINI for a more detailed list of options included. Everything else went in.
Dark Silver
Sport
Premium
Winter
NAV
rear fog
Seven Piano Black interior
anthracite headliner
Chromeline interior
center arm rest
HK sound system
well i am still looking forward to the car. fingers crossed. The nice thing to hear was, the car hasnt gone into the paintshop yet.... still in the birth canal
This is an all new experience for me. I found this helpful and want to pass this on:

To be honest, I'd rather have cloth than leather or leatherette.. The seats really keep you nicely in place..........and that's a good thing considering the g's you can generate with the MINI's cornering abilities. My wife's MCS has leather, I gambled on the cloth/leather combo (seating surfaces are cloth) and it's one of the best options I ordered. Treat them with fabric protector when they're new ("303 High Tech Fabric Guard" is fantastic) and you're good-to-go. You won't regret this "mistake", believe me.

I'm gonna go with your advice and faith
Thanks for reassuring me. There were other threads on how dirty the cloth gets but in retrospect, I detail my cars to the extreme so maintenance shouldnt be an issue. I'll check out the 303 fabric guard. I suppose fate will win in the end... leatherette was never meant to be
Again, thanks!

wow, i'd be upset if they messed up my order like that... it's hard enough trying to decide between the two, but then them getting it wrong. They'd better not do that on mine - i want the black leatherette! With all the muddy stuff I'll be evidently throwing in my car, the back seats would be toast in a week if i got the cloth!
Sorry about your mishap, but at least you are ok with it, and that is what counts!
