New Member plus funny story :)
Hi Guys and Gals -
My name is Kevin and I live in Georgia.
I just recently purchased a 2006 MCS Dark Silver/White with all three packages (Cold, Sport, Premium). I have owned her three weeks and I am loving every minute of it. I just spent all day Saturday detailing her only to have a bug spill his guts right on the front grill first thing this morning. Go figure.
Any way I have two funny stories and both include my son.
Story 1:
My little one is almost 2 and a couple of months back his grandfather brought him a car from their trip to Holland. It was a replica of a MINI that you could put on the ground, pull back, and when you let go it would shoot forward. He loves those kind of cars. So I come home with the new Cooper and he and his mom walk outside to greet me. He has his MINI in hand and he stops and looks at his MINI and then at my MINI and then back at his. He immediately puts his MINI on the ground and walks towards mine both arms streched out infront of him claiming my car for his own.
Story 2:
I have been pondering the last couple of weeks of MINI ownership as to what I should name my car. I have gone back and forth between girl names and guy names but just couldn't decide what I wanted to call it. Well I came home the other day and as usual the wife and son meet me at the car. So as I was walking to the door carrying my son, I pointed at my car and asked him "What's this?" He looked at me and smiled and as plain as day said "Mimi". Needless to say, my car has been called Mimi ever since.
Ya'll take care and I will see you around![Smilie](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

My MINI remains nameless thus far in its short life... but one day she'll tell me her name. Maybe she just wants to get to know me better.
