Usin' more A/C, but is this normal...

Hopefully, I can get some help here.

I've been using more A/C as of late, but noticed some weird noises. When I pulled into my garage, I thought I had a flat. I heard a loud hissing noise, but it was my engine. Some smoke escaped, too. I thought it was my coolant levels, but it was fine. As a matter of fact, all my vital fluids where in check. No alerts from my panels. Kinda puzzled.

Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure it's NOT supposed to do that. Better get it to the dealer asap!

I'm guessing you have some escaping coolant hitting your hot manifold. Only takes a little bit to make a loud hiss and bit of steam that can look like smoke. You probably wouldn't notice it in you fluid levels yet either.

Check all the hoses. Look for any kind of discoloration around the cylinder head, especially where it meets the block. Pull the dipstick and see if there's anything that looks like bubbles. Might be coolant in the oil, which means a blown head gasket.

Try to find out where the condensation from your AC use is dripping.
