Just ordered my new MINI!
Just placed my order for a 2006 MCS fully loaded :-). They don't have a production week for me as their order bank is backlogged right now, so i'll have to wait 2-3 weeks for that, but i'm excited! Glad to be getting back in the MINI world again :-).
Dark Silver MCS w/white roof and mirrors
All Packages except JCW
Navi
LSD
Black Leather Interior
Piano Black Interior (Series 7)
Harmon Kardon Audio
Does anyone have any pictures of a Dark Silver MCS with a White roof, White Bonnet Stripes, and a Lapis Blue Interior? I opted for the black because I thought it would be less... Exotic ? Blue interiors arn't exactly "The Norm".
Any suggestions would be helpful, things to get or not get, input on resale value of the Lapis Blue, what it looks like with the Piano Black interior if anyone has a picture, etc.
Thanks!

Hi Nick, welcome to the dark silver world!
I just picked up Foamy the other day and have been having a blast. He's a dark silver MCS with sunroof/premium/sport/leather/HK. The link below has two pictures. I am very very happy with the combo of DS & silver. --doug

Hey, you're getting a MINI, so how does "The Norm" apply?

Nick, small world -- I ordered mine today, too. MCS, Premium & Sport, but black on black with the interior surface seven deal -- in other words, more black. Seats are, at least, tartan red. Plan is to drop it a little, via some Koni FSD's, and drop the skirt-line all around via aero kit.
I wonder who else is having a birthday today?

So nobody has any pics of a Dark Silver Mini with a Lapis Blue leather interior? What about just the interior?

Yeah, I understand. My climate can be a bit fickle -- SW Germany, north of the Alps -- but general the roads are well cared for in the winter and snow. It's probably to my advantage that I live right around the corner from the city maintenance guys -- if they can get to work, I can et to work, too. But I have even, smooth roads that are generally in very good shape. Dumb luck.
Probably not the same in Idaho.
