It always depends on where they put it...sometimes a hairdryer works great unless plastic is involved (Heat that puppy up good and it should peel right off, but (careful...low heat on painted surfaces etc and plastic)...
Try warming it with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, then peel it off. To get it started use a piece of tape or something non-metallic so you don't scratch the paint. Clean up the adhesive residue with Goo-Gone or 3M Adhesive Cleaner. Good luck!
gasp! They put a STICKER on your PAINT?! I would have poo'd my pants.
Today...the age of stickers should be GONE..Most around here use a License plate frame with their name...which I promptly discard. (UNLESS THEY WANT TO PAY ME FOR ADVERTISING)
I love the back of trucks that have the manufacturer's name embossed on them...A BADGE OF DISHONOR?)
When I was living in Miami I saw many MINI's cursed with an ugly dealer birthmark, and always from the same dealer (just to give some perspective, there were 3-4 dealers within about 30 miles of where I lived). Very sad indeed. I'm going to make sure I ask my dealer not to put any kind of decals on mine other than my bonnet stripes!

If it is a hard plastic or metal badge, use dental floss (the real stuff, not that glide crap) to "saw" it off. Then remove any extra adhesive carefully with your fingernail and/or some Goo-Gone.
The only "dealer badge" I have is on the license plate frame--but that's okay, 'cause it says "COOPER"......bought it at Jackie COOPER Mini (Edmond, Oklahoma)
