Production week 45ers?

I just ordered a CR/W MCS today and have a production number but assume it will be a day or two before I can track my car. I ordered the Premium, Sport and Convenience Packages, LSD, HK, Rear Fog, Chrono Pack, Chili Red Dash Panels, Chrome Interior, Gray/Black Leatherette and Anthracite Headliner. This will be my fourth MINI purchase. My daughter (2ndMiniac) has an 05 MCS EB/W. These cars are like crack cocaine..... Anyways, I'll ride along here with the week 45'ers until I find out when my car is actually being produced.

Hey guys, I was just reading your posts and thought that I would add a little encouragement and make a few suggestions.
I'm a week 44 and am in the same area as Wildfamily and have basically the same config with the addition of the english black panther leather seats.
Last night in our Production Support group, we were supposed to be on the boat and departed. However, it appeared that a number of us had not made the boat even though we were on the bill of lading for that voyage. Our cars were "wait listed" while a number of others on that same BOL were loaded. So, for those of us that were Wait Listed, we were extremely disappointed at those posts...... Watch monday night football with our beloved Seahawks, watch the CMA awards, catch the news, get some good jokes from Leno(Is a pastor on meth caled a metodist????ha ha )....... go to sleep, wake up and logon and find out that MiniMe is now loaded and on its way!!!!
Moral of the story??? I'm not sure what it is either, but at a minimum, try to be patient with the system and don't do like I did and get pissed off (but like the old saying goes, its better to be pissed off than pissed on ). It appears that when you have a BOL # your car will show as on the dock. When your cruise ship comes in, I think that all of the cars then show as wait listed(don't get concerned yet, its not like a bad flight), and then as soon as it is actually loaded, it is in the state room on the cruise lines being pampered and on its way.
Let me know if you have other questions, and I will try to answer them. MiniMe was ordered 9/15, went to the dock on 10/30 and left on its voyage this morning. Hopefully I will driving him by 12/15. One other word of advice, those of us on the west coast tend to get screwed as there are more cruises to the east coast than to the west coast. In fact I could have been driving mine right now had I ordered from Classic or Hamptons,or etc. but I elected to support the local dealer.

Okay, I found out from my MA today that I have a VIN and my car is "scheduled for production" but not yet "in production." My VIN ends in TN29300. Wondering who out there has a VIN that is in the same spot (awaiting production) that I am. I'm curious to see what the last VIN is for a NAM'er. This means I may end up not being a week 45 person Car should be in the garage by Christmas though.

My VIN is TN29150 and my car is scheduled to be complete November 13th. The representative I talked to at 866-ASK-MINI said that it should be done sooner than that though (November 10th).

Thanks for the encouragement Speed Racer! Since you're in the week before us, I'll be watching MiniMe's progress on his way to you.
It's going to be a very happy holiday season for all of us!
While we're waiting...if you have your VIN number, you can go ahead and order your free Mini Spy Toggle Panel. Here's the link

Congrats, but now the hardest part of the wait is in front of you now that you know that you actually have a car and its just sitting on the dock collecting dust and dirt!

No need to get confused. There are boats leaving on the 8th, 10th and 17th. If you need more help let me know. I would say that you have chance to be motoring sooner than any of us on the west coast. Have you been able to track the VIN yet?

Oo thanks! Maybe I could get on the boat for the 17th?!
I did try the VIN thing, nothing yet. I will keep trying and see what happens, if anything new pops up I will post in here.
I hate to be a pessimist but I don't want to get my hopes up that I might get my Mini early!

I'll keep checking the WW site, so far nothing but I did call Mini and they confirmed that my Mini arrived yesterday on the dock, getting on the ship that would leave on the 10th would be way too cool. Either way I am very happy with the ways things are progressing. I got in just in time too to get my 06. I was lucky my dealer still had 4 alloted Minis when I ordered mine.
