1st post and BIG dogs in MINIs?

First post in 1st gear... I'm driving a bmw 330 right now but the lease is up in February. Since financing is through the same place I really want to get a mini at that time. BUT the big question is do BIG dogs fit in minis? I'm talking Newfoundland size dogs. Can't wait to hear from you all. I think this site is super.
