Hello and suggestions
Hello we are new here. I saw we because, my girlfriend is the one who owns the mini, but i am the motor head and sports car guy that is currently driving a truck. so i am living through her.
we are thinking of good stuff to do to the car. First mission was to set her mini apart from the crowd and today i added the M7 upper and middle grilles. it was not the easiest thing i have ever done, but at least i know how the front bumper comes off now.
we are still thinking about what the next step should be ,but we are thinking more power.
and here is the question. Is a pulley (15-16%) a good place to start? or should we go the more traditional route of induction and exhaust? this is my first mini project so any advice would be great.
also who does everyone trust parts wise. i know for my subaru's (WRX and then WRX STI) i only used Cobb tuning parts, but i really don't know much about minis. is M7 good? alta? some of the power parts at m7 look interesting and a bit of a different approach, but that is not always good, so anyones opinion would be great.
also i was reading posts earlier about light bars and i talked to Peter at M7 today and he said that theirs would be ready, he thought, around the middle to end of January, but i have heard that from parts makers before so...
anyway thanks
