Super excited for 07 MCS
Hello all!!!
My name is Becky and I just wanted say hello and hope everyone is having a great new year!!! I do have a question though....I talked with my MA in early January and he said because I want the Navi for the 07 MCS I have to wait to order until the specs come out on Feb 17 or possibly later. I wasn't sure if this was correct or not, can someone confirm? It seems like a lot of people are already waiting for their 07 MINIs so I wasn't sure if my question was off base! Thanks!

Welcome to the group, Becky. Your MA was correct. For the U.S. market, the navigation system won't be installed until the March build. I've had a deposit in since November and I last spoke to my MA about two weeks ago. He said they will take my order sometime this month with my car to be assembled next month.

Yes, I've been told the same. Although the Nav system has been available in the UK for some time, it won't be available in the US until the March builds. Each dealer gets their "quota" for March sometime in mid February or so, at which point they will be able to enter our orders into the system. Until then, our deposits are simply guaranteeing our place in the queue at the dealership.
But it's February now, and it's a short month...March is rapidly approaching!

I have an 07 convertible with a navigation system in it that I ordered November 7th, 2006 and took possession on January 5th, 2007. I believe the convertibles were the last run before starting on the 07 sedans from what I understand.
