Hello to all the MINI Maniacs,

This is my first post and I'm looking for some exhaust advice. I have an '06
S and thinking about installing the Magna Flow system.

Does anyone have any feedback on this exhaust or others they may recommend?

I, too, wonder if there is a specific company that you guys would recommend. I know the Mazda crowd goes nuts for anything Racing Beat produces. Is there an aftermarket company that consistently makes great products for these cars?

 

A good place to start is in the mod forums, but also, you can check out the many vendors listed in the vendor directory. I myself have the Dinan, which some folks feel is too loud Others I can think of are the 1.) Borla - I think the exhaust tips of the Borla look nice. 2.) Miltek - it has a nice sound.

 

I have done some research and the best exhaust, well the one I preferred was a Powertone exhaust. Sounds great and for aftermarket, installs pretty smoothly...

Second, there are a bunch of options from ~$50 (the "One-Ball") to Borla and Magnaflow.

If you're all about doing it yourself, the Alta SporTone I hear is a really simple install too.
