IMHO, they drive the same, but the base just has less power. If you want a bit of a kick, you need the S. If that is not a big deal, save your money.

Here is my first pic of my new Countryman S4. Bought it used a little over a month ago and had a bunch of small details done to make it "mine".....JCW kit, Joey mod, dual angel eye conversion headlight, HID fogs, blackout trim, 50% tint all around, HR springs, white ducts, car already came with VIP CAI, turbo shield, manga flow exhaust, and 20"TSW, which I had powdered coated satin black from gunmetal grey...still had to remove cooper s read badge, blackout emblems. I also have Way rear sway not installed until I decide if I want to change out shocks.....now just want to drive it!! Interior next!

My dealer in Pittsburgh lined it up. They have a relationship with a shop that does vinyl car wraps, and they are happy to do custom striping. The shop owner has the same color CM, and asked me if I minded if he copied it.
