R60 Countryman Photos

Hi everyone, this will be my second Mini. I had a 2008 Cooper S in mellow yellow which I sold but regretted it ever since. I love this combination in the Countryman but wished it was available in mellow yellow. I ordered it from scratch so it basically has every option but the cold weather package since I live here in Houston, Tx. Enjoy the pics

Miniblue2 - thanks for re-affirming my color choice! Your new CM looks awesome.

I can appreciate the blacked-out look, and it really is quite attractive - goes exceptionally well with the color (colour). However, my first car was a '59 Cadillac Coupe deVille. Once the chrome virus infects your system - especially at a young age - it's there for life. I'll be checking off the chrome boxes on mine.

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the forum. Thought I'd share a link to pics of my new Countryman (name: Clive) a few weeks ago. One look at the pics and you'll see why I went with the All4. Clive has been a joy to drive in the snow!

Specs:
Royal Grey w/ Royal Grey roof
17s with Anthracite Tunnel Spoke wheels
Automatic (not my choice - hubby insisted)
Black leather
Cold weather pkg (um, hello - it's cold in Indiana)
Premium pkg
Split rail
Planned mods: black bonnet stripes, window tint, and .... who knows?
Oh, and I'm using the cellphone holder in the rail to hold my garage door opener instead. Is that a mod or just plain old creativity?

Re: Let me know how you like the stripes
Do you have the double sunroofs? If so, did they just put the stripes on the front portion of the roof forward of the sunroof? I'm dying to see an all black countryman with white stripes done just the way yours is done. I want to consider doing it but I'm too chicken to be the first to take the plunge without seeing it first.

yippee....
kart and firehazard--i'm picking mine up from D&R tonite from Jim....i recommend jim as well. Though i will say the business manager wasn't to helpful in taking a trade for my 08 clubman S. Low balled significantly so i am selling her outright (or maybe keeping her!--if the wife lets me!! ). Couple pictures emailed to me by Jim this AM are attached.

The best pic of my Countryman can be found in post 172 of this thread, here is direct link: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...4-post172.html
Unfortunately, it has been snowed seemingly every several days since I got the car so I have not yet created a proper gallery. We got another 16" of snow overnight so it may be a while...

thanks Geoffry
I have plans for reverse viper stripes from Aesthetic creation up and down the bumpers, bonnet, roof, and boot/bumpers. Also a clearbra. Its getting windows tinted as we speak before i pick it up tonite. I am gonna do some of the superbrightled.com bulbs as well. Probably mostly one that won't require a resistor (not too interested in monkeying with that right now).
Dont have the cahunas to do the joey mod thing yet.

Picked up my CM yesterday in Portland and drove the 3 hours back today on a clear, curvy road with amazing scenery of Mt. Hood and the Cascades. It has been years since I have owned a car that is so much fun to drive...I can stop regretting that I sold my GTI years ago now that I have found an all wheel drive go cart. Can't believe it only cost me $37 to fill up the tank. Here is a link to the album:
