Yakima

Took a 800 mile road trip with Mini roof rails and Yakima box. Did not hear any wind noise (except I felt it slightly when I was riding next to a large lorry.

Photo of our 2012 CM on MINI USA site

While visiting the MINI USA site today I discovered they are using a photo of our 2012 Countryman in their "We call it the BIG MINI promotion"

It can be seen here: http://www.miniusa.com/content/miniu...man_offer.html

It is the Light Coffee/Black with the kayak trailer, they probably grabbed it from a submission I made to the site during a promotion they were doing last winter.

Kind of exciting seeing our CM on the site along with other photos from NAM users !

Yes Ben I remember your post when your photos were selected to be on the MINI USA site

Nice that MINI "taps into" their customers to show the rest of the world the how much we love our MINIs

2014 Countryman S Light Coffee

Here are pics of my brand new Countryman S. I have had it for about a month now. Tinted the windows 35% all around and had a clear bra put on so far.

Megan racing on All4, setting at hard 8-9 in front and hard 6-7 in rear, handle like a dream. If you set it too soft. You actually would get too much soft bounce.

Awesome!! Did you do the install yourself on the coils? This is my next mod, and I have been eyeing those same wheels, but in a different color. What offset / size etc is your wheel / tire package?

Actually I had a shop do the install. The rear is actually pretty simple. 3 bolts and done. But the front is a bit more work. But if you have it on the lift, it's piece of cake. It's about an 2-3 hours job. And the LM series is 18x8, 40+ offset. Fills the wheel wall really well in the front and rear is a little tuck. And I'm running 225/45/18 but might switch to 235/40/18 on the next set. And might add 5mm-10mm spacer back to the rear as well.

Ok, great, thanks for the reply. Probably no rubbing with those 225's right? I think 10mm space in the rear would make you rub, or be very close to it... car looks great though!

Thanks. Yes no rubbing at all. I might go with a 5mm instead. Just in case
