New mini owner here. Bought a used 2013 Countryman Cooper S with 26K miles on it. The only thing I don't like about my car is the white wheels - the white color on the wheels is not the same white as the body. Planning on getting it powder coated black (since I cant justify spending more money on new wheels) and getting black sports stripes installed

I actually do! 😁 I'm in Orange county today, But live near the Pasadena /Arcadia area.

 

Our 2014 All4, we've had it for just over a year now, love every minute of it.

 

Wife just picked hers up last night after the 2.5 month journey from Austria.

not a great pic, but I was finally able to black-out the corner reflectors.


Hopefully some white wheels will be next to finish off the exterior... for now.

 

If you like you're style, size n fit, it will be cheaper to powder coat and color match the lite white paint!

 

What do you mean roof rail delete? The grey rails down each side? If so how?

 

Just replaced standard Mini side stripes with custom GP side stripes from UK.

I think I may be done now with graphics, but I have thought that before.

 

Collected yesterday, detailed today. More a winter protection than full detail and paint correction - it looks 10x better than the dealers efforts but then i put 5 hours into this today (at temps of 34-46'F) - Brrrr..

You have to pull the roof liner out a bit.

I took off all the handles, and middle rear seat belt. Also had to pull the rear panels off to be able to pull the roof out enough. I reached inside between the roof liner and roof to get to the 4 bolts for each rail. It's a bit of a pain, but with a racket and 6" extension I was able to get it all off in a timely manner.

You will need to find plugs, or use black silicone like I did. Black silicone doesn't look super great up close (a few inches away), but looks good overall. Plugs would probably stick out just a little bit, but it doubt would hinder the look.

I like the delete for a couple reasons. Gives it a unique, slick look. And Dropped about 4 lbs... lol.

 

New to the Countryman section but not new to MINI. Took delivery of my '15 CMS after about a 2 month wait from ordering. Previously had an '06 JCW Hardtop that I purchased from a forum member and sold to another forum member.
