Mini Countryman & Eta Beta Tettsut X Ceramic 8x19"
Hi
Long time lurker here
Here is my Mini Countryman & Eta Beta Tettsut X Ceramic 8x19" ET43
Tires are Pirelli P Zero (225/40)
I would say that the ride is smoother than the OEM 17" runflats.
It took me 3 months to get the wheels but it was worth the wait!
According to my tire specialist, the people at Eta Beta Factory in Italy ordered a Mini Countryman to custom fit the wheels for the car
Part of the center of the wheel was "chewed" off little bit to ensure the best fitment for Mini Countryman.
I was told that the ET 50 would have resulted wheel being too close to the brakes, so they decided to go with customised wheel with ET43.
Have a happy holidays and all the best for the new year 2015!

225/40/19? How do the tires ride? 225/45/18 is an OE size at about 25.9 inch diameter, and 225/40/19 is about 26.1 inch diameter.
I wonder if we could squeeze 245/40/18 with a diameter of 25.7 inches... I could of swore I've ran across a post where a countryman owner was able to fit 245s.

245/45 seems like a pretty tall side for what I'm looking for. Any pics? I was just wondering how the shorter sidewall felt. A little higher revs, but in a sense quicker gearing with a shorter sidewall. I'm either going to run 235/40 or 245/40 next. I wonder if 255 could fit... 😁

I'm running on the stock 18s that came with the sport package. I believe they are 18x7.5. I will try to post a picture when I get a chance.

Yeah, I didn't think about going with a shorter sidewall. 245/40 would be good. I think if I try to lower mine, it may rub.
