One of my favorite things about my car is the fact that I've been able to cut close to 290lb off the car and it still looks clean. I couldn't imagine how the car would handle with anymore weight than it has now. I can't wait until I shed more weight... I really enjoy adding power, but making the car lightweight is so much more fun.

A few big things helped dropped the most weight, but all of that had cost me money. About 30 to 40lbs was free, but it was removing little bits here and there around the car. Like all the brackets in the boot area, center arm rest, center console, etc. I had a list somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Been a while since I've done the hard & free stuff.
A few big easy (and costly) ones were:
Catless DP -- removal of the cat shed an easy few lbs
Stock Muffler -- it's very heavy compared to my straight-thru Magnaflow mufflers, by memory I want to say it was around 20lbs saved.
Rear Seat delete -- The seats weight 110lbs total, I probably shed around 100lbs. I added sound deadening and foam for my dogs.
Apex Wheels/tires -- The wheel/tire combo dropped around 30lbs off the car
Li-Ion Battery -- it's a 5lb battery, it dropped 20lbs off the car. I believe the stock battery is 25lbs.
BC Coilovers -- Shed about 22lbs. Apparently the stock suspension is very heavy.. 60+lbs!
Stg 4 Clutch/Lwt Flywheel -- I believe it was around 15lbs saved.
Next I plan on getting a CF hood, someone else running one said it drops 20lbs.

I returned to the Mini Countryman after 12 months trading in my 2012 R60. This one is a 2015 S All4. I found it locally, one previous owner that leased it. It has all new Continental run flat tires, I don't mind the hard ride. 70,000 miles but all scheduled maintenance was done at a BMW dealership based on the CarFax. I'm not a big mod guy but I am open to any suggestions. I plan to window tint as dark as my state allows and exchange the stock silver wheels for the same style in black. That will make the car look much better in my opinion. After reading about AWC_Rally's backseat modification I am interested in possible making that change. As always, I catch myself looking for reasons to take it for a drive in my first four days of ownership.
My 'new' 2015 as of August 14th.

New to me Mini.
Just purchased a new to me 2015 Mini Cooper Countryman S All4. My first Mini, though I've wanted one since the Italian Job came out years ago, I wonder how many Mini lovers love was sparked by that movie? Anyhow, esctatic to be here and looking forward to a hopefully long love affair with my mini.

Just made the move from Clubman to Countryman, after my Clubman was totaled. I've only put about 25 miles on the Countryman so far, but I'm liking it! Didn't go with the S this time because I couldn't find any I liked, but this one is in perfect shape and is a great blank slate to start Youifying.
