Easy install. Took me 10mins, used a bottle of soapy water and a squeegee to get it on and all the air bubbles out. The AC cover is much thinner then the one for my MCS but still keep it scratch free for a good long time.

My Cosmic Blue All4 is here!!!

Well it was 8 LONG weeks, but the day finally came on Sunday. This car is a dream to drive. I am coming from 8 years of driving an SUV, so the change is quite dramatic.
So far in 190 miles, I would have to say that the car seems very solid. It drives like a small car, but feels bigger somehow. I am completely enamored with it! Oh yeah, I have to say that the xenons are amazing!
This photo is from the dealer at pick up. There's a couple more in the gallery. It didn't stay clean for more than 2 hours before it rained. (Hey it's western Washington) So now I need to find out what cleaning materials to purchase before I give it it's first bath!
That's all for now. Gotta go motoring before it get's dark.
Dave

dd,

Congrats.

Did you get All Season tires on your 17"s?

I have them and they have been great so far...especially during the winter months.

Yeah all seasons. They feel good. Actually I haven't had an issue with the run flats being to stiff either, but that's probably because I was driving a Jeep Liberty before.

New Owner Of A Countryman

The wait is finally over and I picked it up yesterday! I was nervious about how the red would look with the black but I think it turned out great. I also had the side scuttle pieces painted to match the car.

Great looking car!
Dit you paint the mirror covers and air-intakes yourself or are they from the JCW Design Package Chili Red?
Tnx!

I ordered the JCW design package but I was told about a week before I took delivery that they are still back ordered in Germany. So the dealer had them painted Chilli Red.

vonmark, awesome color combo!
I hope to see you driving it on the roads of the Queen City.
Bring it to Cars & Coffee this May 7th at the North Lake Mall.
I wish I'd have mine by then, Oxford is still waiting to cross the Atlantic, another month to go I guess.
Happy Motoring!!

Looking good! Don't have mine yet, but been thinking about tinting the windows....what percent light is that? You happy with results?

I have 20% but they meter dark at about 17-18%. I love the tints. Unfortunately they are not legal in most states especially here in NY where its supposed to be 70%!

Finally arrived! Royal Grey MCSCm ALL 4 with 6-sp manual, sports suspension, 18" run-flats. Absolutely love it. Actually, much more fun to drive that my prior '03 MINI. Great in the curves, not too stiff, easy shifting. More pics later.
