Finally found a picture of Light Coffee with white stripes. We ordered ours with the stripes. Thought if I didn't like them I could peel them off. Have been looking for 2-months now for a picture online of Light Coffee with white stripes and this is the first I have seen. Thought I would share it.

Do you know if a 1 1/4 to 2" adaptor will fit on the MiniFini hitch? I would love to see a picture showing the hitch ball part entering the body work (lower angle than what is in the link), or a picture with this part off the car so the hole is shown.

Yellow also happens to be one of the safest colors ( blue and white are also known to be very visible) on the road according to research...

Sport Stripe Mix Up

Went to have the boot stripes that match the bonnet stripes installed at the dealer today.

When I picked it up I discovered that they had installed the Sport Stripes, which don't match the factory bonnet stripes.

The SA went ahead and had the matching Sport Stripes installed on the bonnet, which I prefer to the stock stripes anyway.

Here are a couple of pics. Sorry, bad lighting for iPhone4 pics...

From the two posted pictures, I'd say they match quite nicely. From the signature picture, I'd say they are a little behind in their updating.

You are correct!

It was $192 out the door.

Looks very good.

Unrelated question: Do you go to base with that? Just wondering since quite a few people that are on Camp Pen tend to live out in Murrieta. I've seen 2 on base so far, but only base models.

This stripe stuff is really starting to frost my Pure Orange pumpkin. I've seen these added at everything from $400 to $1200. My MA quoted me $1000. As the bonnet stripes came with the Sport Package, I just said f--- it and stayed with the bonnet stripes. If I decide to change over, I'll have to travel to your MINI store and have them do it.

Ah, I was just thinking that the boot stripes had pinstriping on the outside of the sport stripes and the bonnet didn't, if that's how it's supposed to be than I do kinda like the "pitchfork" on the bonnet though

Thanks!

Nope, never been to the base. But I know the dealer in San Diego has to be selling them to someone!

I don't think you can take much from my situation. The SA took $50 off because I wound up having to wait all day (they did eventually give me a loaner Clubman to do some running around in). Also, when it became clear that they put the wrong stripes on, they didn't charge me to put the front (correct) ones on.

I suspect the $400 figure you got would seem pretty accurate, but $1000-$1200 would be criminal.

You start talking above $600...now you're talking about Dry Carbon Fiber Wraps.
