lindseybp, I don't know if you are on the MINIUSA OL but I posted a few images of the ones at my local dealer(MINI of El Paso). I have a buddy in Laramie, WY waiting for her Countryman so I like to taunt her.
It looks very yellow in bright natural light , turns green tinged as it gets dark/ fluorescent lighting and as it gets dirty so more reason to keep it clean
I know yellow is not everyones " cup of tea" but I love it!!!
Spaner, this is a NICE yellow!!! Looks good with the white top and I'm impressed with your white wheels (I'm not brave enough to do it, hee hee).
I also think (despite your comments about the minimal leather on the seats) that the anthracite trim looks well matched to the tobacco, which I wouldn't have guessed.
I know yellow is not everyones " cup of tea" but I love it!!!
utterly fantastic! great color combo.
... and good luck keeping the wheels clean - I've had white rims for 8+ years, and when they're clean, they look awesome. for the other 7 years, 11 months and 22 days, they've just shamed me...
OK, but large photos that do not fit on my 22 inch screen are really too big.
I will see what I can do.
If you're posting from a Mac, Automator is a GREAT way of easily resizing a collection of pictures. Not saying there aren't other solutions on other platforms. This is simply one that I'm familiar with.
JCW tips are larger. A larger engine is out of the question. In fact MINI is moving to 3 cylinders in the future. Not sure if that will eventually include the Countryman.
JCW tips are a little bit larger, but I didn't like the design. They are attached to the bodykit instead of being part of larger JCW performance type piping...
These are in my gallery and I started a thread in the mods section, but I thought they would be appreciated more here
This is not the final product. I have a new set coming in on Monday to do a better job after learning what NOT to do this time around.
Those pics have me debating my color choice. I am/was currently going with Royal Grey and white top with blk 17' wheels but that True Blue is sweet...
The planning continues... thanks for the pics!
So far on this forum I think my wife's is the only one that is Pure Red/Pure Red and Chrome Line exterior. She eventually wants to add a checkered graphic on the roof. I asked her if she wants a full roof, just on the sunroof, solid or perforated. She said she didn't know. I told her the solid will still allow light but block the sun. The perf'd will allow light & sun and she won't be able see the graphics from the inside. I said the only downside to the perf is that it won't hold up as well as the solid up here due to our winter snows & ice.
Thanks. When I first saw it (the first pure red one I'd seen in the metal), I was...startled by just how orange it is. I've gotten over that now, and while I still think I would have preferred a bluer red (like the Imola Red used on BMWs), I'm OK with it now.
Thanks for all the pics! In the process of ordering my Royal Gray ALL4/S with Gravity Polar Beige, Carbon Black Door, Polar Beige Color Line, Sport and Premium Package, 6-sp Manual,18" Turbo Fan Spoke Anthracite... to replace by 03 MINI!
