Wow, that looks great! What process did you use? I'm considering doing the same...

Thanks!

I went to auto zone and bought a "Caliper Paint Kit" was 20$ or so. Took off the wheel masked some of rotor close to the caliper and some other parts i wanted to keep silver and then started to paint. It says don't put the wheels back on for 2 hours i waited 30 minutes and was just extra careful. But it says do not drive the car for 24 hours. I followed that step because i didn't want to get them dirty before the paint fully dries. But it has held up fantastic i pressure wash the car and it holds up to that just fine.

This is in Thailand. This is Khao-yai. A mountainous part of Thailand. Just a 2 to 3 hours drive away from the bangkok city. "Khao-yai" means big mountains in Thai. (Similar to the dragon stretch of road in the states)

Welcome! Are you planing to be around downtown bangkok? Or going to popular places like the beaches? Huahin, Pattaya, or islands around thailand? How about Khao-yai?

You'll see tons of MINI's downtown Bangkok. As well as E-class coupes. hahaha

Oh! and vynl wraping in Thailand is quite popular, you may see many of the MINI's wrapped or customized real nice! All of the stripes, designs, and aeroparts from Japanese tuners are popular too! You can check them out.

But mind you, most MINI's here are usually in a hurry, zig zagging through traffic, wouldn't get to see them for long hahahahahahahah

thanks

Humm, Another NV registered RG CM slumming it in CA...

Yours looks great - clean and shiny.
Mine looks neglected - I gotta get my detailing products out of the garage.

Funny you should mention that. I had a black mark in my luggage area and a few marks on my beige seats and trim and I found an old, like ten years ago from my PT Cruiser days, bottle of Zaino Brothers 'Leather Soft' that is a cleaner and conditioner in my garage and it worked amazingly well! Not sure if those guys are even still in biz but their products always worked and smelled great unlike so many newer products that have the strong chemical smell.

Just looked them up. They are still selling their great products. Here's the leather cleaner I was talking about. Ten years later, still works like a champ and smells good! http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...oduct_Code=Z-9

Yup, they're still in business. They're expensive, but I haven't used anything but their products in about 10 years. Worth every penny.

And their leather cleaner is the best leather cleaner I've found. And I've tried a bunch of them.

probably staying a few days in bangkok, heading up to chiang mai for a few days and then going to the beaches (not sure where yet). my step dad is thai and so i've been there a few other times and have always spent a few days in phuket since my aunt worked there. now, i'm going with my own kids and want to see my dad's new place before he retires there.

I already posted this in the True Blue club, but figured I'd share it with all the CM owners -

Just trying out a new iPad app - it came out pretty cool, but I need to figure out how to make it smoother. A 360 degree view of my car.

you'd need something like a tripod on wheels or something that keeps the ipad the same distance off the ground and from the vehicle. maybe tape off a circle on the ground to follow and attach a stick or golf club or something to the ipad . . .

Kawby

Hey everyone!

I went to the dealer today to take a few pics of Kawby who came in yesterday! My mouth literally dropped when I first saw him in person, the color combination was even better looking at him live.

Bad news is I can't pick him up until probably the 2nd week of August...I leave tomorrow for a 10 day vacation and then immediately after that leave for an 8 day work deal so I won't be home until August 6th. Oh well, at lease he is HERE!!
