R60 Countryman Photos

We bought back our PR/PR CM after it sat at the dealership unsold for 3 months after we bought our All4. We were looking at trading my husbands R56 for a CMS fwd, but decided that the price was right on our old one, as they kept lowering it as time went on. The best part is we ended up buying it back for less than what we traded it in for . I must admit, I didn't know how much I missed her until she was already back home.

wow, thats not the usual story here, the used ones go fairly well at my local dealership... when my son gets ready for a used one as his next vehicle I may have to shop a wider pattern, although not sure it'll include MI. :-) would be a long haul from TX. I think its very cool though to hear someone getting a true deal out of a dealership.

Here is something for your enjoyment.
I got a call from my husband that started with " You are probably going to laugh, but....." and it ended with "I'm stuck in the sand". He was right, I did laugh for second before I got a little mad. Anyways, since I was home and he was just down the road at the beach I called our neighbor who helped pull him out. The best part is that his dad and step-mom are visiting from Thailand and he was showing them the beach. I don't think they wanted this kind of adventure.
Anyways, words of wisdom. Don't try to drive a FWD Countryman off the pavement, b.c you don't know where the road is and thought the sand wasn't "that" deep, with summer tires in 12"+ of sand when it is 40* and raining outside. Then don't continue to give it gas to try and get out while only digging yourself further into the sand.
I drove my ALL4 to bring him the shovels. Sally -my car, was laughing at Ruby - his car
Yesterday I was not a happy camper, today I am just shaking my head and laughing every time I look at the pic. I still can't believe he did this, but on the other hand I can.

She was crying just a little bit lol. No, actually she came out of this fine, just a little bit sandy. We gave her a really good bath when we got home b.c she was still leaving a sand trail in our driveway, which was about 3 miles from the beach he got stuck at
