All4 Pricing

1. Just curious.. does anyone know what the AWD option is going to cost on the Countryman? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

2. Also, when I first read about All4, months and months ago, I think I remember reading that it would be available on the Coopers too. Is that true or false? Everything I read now seems to say that it will only be available on the R60.

Thanks

The All4 will only be available on the R60. I just read in a recent Popular Mechanics magazine that the Countryman would sell for $30K in the US. The article did not make it clear if this was the entry point price for the S or what options that price included. However, they did show a picture of nice S model with that statement. The standard Countryman won't come out until later next year. The prospect of a WRX model in 2012 thrills me .

I heard on one of the reviews on Youtube that a couple months back, that the US will only get the S models and that the All4 will become the new "S" model per se. Kind of an interesting thought, not saying that this is the final word.

I don't think I would ever buy an R60, but I was really hoping that all4 would come to the Coopers also. A JCW R56 with awd would be pretty sweet, but at the price point that would probably be, I'd rather buy an Evo or STi, or at least something with more tuning potential.

All4 is supposed to add ~$1700 to the cost of a Countryman S. This was 'leaked' to a journalist during one of the drives during MTTS.

And AFAIK you have to buy an S model to get the All4 option.

MINI just released Countryman Pricing!

The Cooper Countryman will start at $22350 inc destination and handling
The Cooper S Countryman will start at $25950 inc destination and handling
and the ALL 4 will start at $27650 inc destination and handling.

So pricing isnt much more than the current clubman is.
