R60 Polar Beige?

Polar Beige?
Anyone have any experience with Polar Beige in other models?
It looks great with certain exterior colors, but is it just a disaster to maintain? The various pics floating around make it look very tempting, but it's white!
Does Mini sell or recommend a particular cleaner or treatment to maintain it?
Curious...

IMHO, Regular cleaning with leather cleaning will remove most grime. Dark denim can be the biggest problem with light leather. But I have found, hydrated leather cleans easier than dried hard leather. So regular cleaning and hydrating is a must. Stubborn stains can sometimes be removed with a solution of water and Woolite, then re-hydrating with a good cream. It's a very nice color choice, but I've found I prefer black. Even with black seats, I notice dark denim dye coming off on my terry towels, I treat our cars every three months. It also keeps the patina of the leather the same if you continue to treat it. (Leather will smooth over time) I've found with proper treatment you can keep that lovely matte patina.

I decided not to go with light color leather this time around.
I use Zaino leather treatment for cleaning and conditioning and it has worked perfectly.

A bit ironic re my concerns of keeping Polar Beige clean - one of the new cars just delivered already had what looked like ink or marker on the door and seat! (Not this shot - just another nice white interior)
Seems a bit to me like a black car - beautiful when clean, but hard to keep that way.

Keep your shoes off the Polar Beige!
I would go with Interior Color Carbon Black (4CU), Polar Beige Gravity Leather (T6GW), and Color Line Polar Beige (4C2), and standard Light Headliner (i.e. Not Anthracite)
This way, the door sills (and other surfaces which would be subjected to your shoes) remain black - Yet, seats, door inserts, center rail surfaces and headliner are all light and bright!

I would agree with the others who have cautioned you to stay away from the polar beige. I had a very similar leather color in an Infiniti G35 that I drove before I got my MINI, and some of the dye came off my husband's jeans and rubbed into the driver's seat right after we got the car. We tried everything to remove the stain, but had no luck.
Best of luck to you!

. . . I want my baby back. It’s gray, it’s gray Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh What can I do ‘Cause I-I-I-I-I’m feelin’ blue If I had my way She’d be back today.
Ooops. sorry. Having a bit of a flash back.
Dark interiors on small(ish) cars can be cozy or confining or depressing. As they come in, sit in a few and see if you can find a combo that works. Light headliner might help. Good luck.

I selected black leather lounge seats with the beige piping. I complimented that with the beige door and roof lining. I was afraid that the beige seats would get dirty and show the dirt more, but I really liked how beige opened up the interior and gave it a classy look. This is going to be the interior of my Surf Blue exterior (with black roof).
