Just because it doesn't have the copyright symbol on it doesn't mean it's not copyrighted material. Think about how easy is it to remove a symbol using Photoshop or other software - that doesn't suddenly make it go from copyrighted to non-copyrighted!
Anyhow, this is speculation. But it's a pet peeve of mine when people assume that just because they found it on the web, that it can be freely distributed/reproduced. Intellectual rights are still valid, and can be legally upheld in a court of law.

I put the higher resolution image in my gallery - see if you can work with it.
As far as the Smurfers, from personal experience - some people are extremely sensitive to copyright issues. To put Dilbert in a power point I signed an agreement that limited the size of the audience, the number of times it would be shown, and forbid reproduction in handouts - 3 electronic viewings only. And I paid.

Oh geeez, copyright infringement of a smurf image. Maybe that explains why the black helicopters have been hovering over my home the past few days. LMAO.

Nice! It is a super cool color and lava red is a perfect description. There is a recent pic under Countryman Photos of one and it truly does look like lava. You should name your CM, Lava!
