R60 2012 Countryman on order!

To complicate things, the K-Line schedule does not list Port Hueneme as a destination for any of their ships, but that is where my CM is supposed to enter the US. WW does list Port Hueneme, but the ship currently on the water does not have my VIN, and the next ship is leaving 12/3, almost a month after my car was complete. And my MA has no further information, other than "awaiting transport".
This is the schedule (but only four weeks out) for Port Hueneme. The car port is number four (with two slots for ships.) Any ship listed as BMW could be carrying minis. Your car might be on a carrier that is not WW. BMW has been contracting with other carriers to fill in some of the holes in WW's schedule. Your MA will have a harder time tracking as it is not part of the normal system. (My car was listed as awaiting transport until it checked in at the VDC. And, had been at sea for over a week before my MA got an arrival at port date, but no ship name.)

Ships basically don't track once clear of the English Channel until near the Panama Canal (just under 2 weeks.) I eventually got a date that the ship was due to port, and some help on here to figure out which ship. About 10 or so days before due in port, they check in at the Panama Canal. Then, you can not only track it, but see it on webcams. About the only cool thing about the extended wait for west coast cars.

Mine was born in the same day too! How did you find out it's already on a boat? Ask-MINI still says mine is waiting for a shipping vessel. I live in NYC. Not sure if it's the same ship.

Is anyone else on the Figaro? It is currently pulling into Southampton and passing the Queen Mary 2 on its way in. This is also its maiden voyage! It is a brand new ship.

2012 Countryman Headed to LA
Hi Everyone, My countryman was born on 11/10. Ask mini says it's waiting at the port for a ship. I saw that the Mignon left Bremerhaven on 11/19. My countryman arrived at the port a few days before that. When I look at the WW website, it's not listed...but when I pull up a long list of VIN Numbers on their site, there are no minis listed as being loaded on the Mignon. Are there any of you out there in the same situation? Mine is headed to California (Port Huneme) and I was hoping to get it before Christmas.

So far it seems to have "missed the boat" on 11/18, 11/19 and 11/23

Yes, mine shows up on the WW tracking website and it has since the night it was loaded. The MINI OL also updated to "enroute" when it was loaded. So, maybe you're not on the Torrens. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when cars get loaded. Mine arrived at the port at Southampton ( it's an MCS) on 11/10, the day the Torrens was supposed to leave. The ship was apparently running behind schedule and didn't leave port until 11/11 which was lucky for me because my car got on, so it was only at the port about 12 hours. I know that you and others have waited weeks at the dock to get on a ship. I don't know anything about CM's and their shipping schedules because I have only been looking at Southampton, but my understanding is that the CM's are loaded on the ship which then goes to Southampton to pick up MINI's. It seems to be a complete mystery why some cars get on in less than a day and others take weeks. The Torrens is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme a week from today. I hope you get some clarification soon. I can imagine how frustrating this is for you (and others). I know I would be going crazy.

mine was born 2 days before yours, so far it still says "waiting for vessel" on OL. I live in the east coast too, I hope ours had been loaded on a boat on Wednesday.
