Mini of Peabody generally has a few, depending on the time of the month... just never quite what I personally wanted. I'm not sure about the Boston dealership.. And I think that Prestige Mini in Jersey also has a couple in stock. If you head into Mini of Peabody, talk to Mark Foresta and tell him that Rachel Daniels sent you. He's a nice guy.

Hello there! I haven't posted in *years* since I sold my MCS back in '08. I am thinking about getting a R60 now that we are an expanding family. From what I've read so far, are the wait times around 2 months for an ordered R60? Do dealers typically have any stock? I'll keep searching and plan on visiting the dealership this weekend.

Yep, i was told it will be a 6-8 weeks wait. It's quite a torture.

The computer voice only says to me that it's in production and expected to be completed on the 19th. Which is okay? Is my car still nekkid metal? Feeling the draft? I suppose that answers the question about how many countrymen can be assembled every day... if we're less than 10 cars apart on the line and I'm two days behind you...

MA confirms assembly started on 1/17; I'm going to assume its birthday is 1/18 (right now it is 12:48 AM 1/18 in Graz)!

I called 1-866-ask-mini last night and learned that mine is in the body stage of production. No dates yet. Mine is an automatic last 4 of VIN is 8885. Did i make your production line you think? I checked the website this mornign and it says that its estimated production date completion is 1/20/2012!!! So i figured I'd call and see if it has a shipping vessel assignment... they said my MA may know more but they are seeing it in the body stage still and production can be 1.5-2 weeks...
Zee, you have to go through the prompts to talk to a real person. If you wait through the menu it gives you the option to talk to a representative. ASK MINI is open (9am to 9pm EST) and I guess every day. The automated system is basically the OL repeat. But a real person knows more. What are the last 4 of your VIN? We have been able to tell where we are on the production line compared to each other. Since you do have a VIN and ordered a few days before me and after some of the other on here you might have a VIN between ours and then you'd know you are on our production line!

EDIT: OH I guess assembly is one day right? So 1/18 would be correct in my view!

Congrats Katie,
If you have the bench seat the only accessory included is the sun glass holder. Apparently since there isn't enough of rail space to hold more than one accessory the powers to be decided that the sun glass holder is the preferred accessory. I scored the phone holder from my MA and I am still working on how to neatly modify the rail to take out the "stops" that prevent 2 accessories from fitting. I think the phone cradle can fit forward without interfering with the E brake.

Ha! I drive by my dealer almost every day, my neck hurts from turning to look at the Countrymen on the lot as I drive by. I'm tempted to just bring friends to the dealer and ask them to test drive so I can ride in it some more.

Thanks Rachel. I'll give him a call! I got my '03MC from Prestige in Jersey and the '04MCS out on Long Island. I'm hoping to be able to get the '12CM locally!

Just curious about actual production timetables. I've had four MINI coupes now, 3 of them ordered, and I got all three of them just 4-5 weeks after ordering. Keeping in mind that the dealer must have an allocation available for each order, and that timing on that may vary from dealer to dealer, does the Graz factory also move that fast on Countryman's? Are transit times significantly longer or shorter?

ugh! Crickets....
YES! Mine too has been waiting for transport and there is no information being communicated. My MA told me it was weather related which is a bit laughable. it's sad there are so few alternatives. I am interested to learn what others waiting are experiencing.

Hi Everyone, I am new to mini and I am extremely excited! The wait is agonizing! My mini is currently on the carrier heading to the port of exit. I hope that it makes it there in time for the next vessel and join the rest of your babies that are already at the port! Does anyone have any idea when the next vessel will arrive and how long it will be on the vessel (I am in California)? Thanks for sharing all of your experiences and research on this thread!
