You guys out east are lucky. MA told me it takes 90 days +/- 7 days to get one to Colorado after ordering. I ordered mine on 23 Nov and its still on a ship until 25 Jan. Then it has to be checked out and trucked to Denver. Its looking like Mid-Feb for me and that's on track with what the MA told me. So you 6-8 week guys I have no sympathy for.

Hi Everyone, I am new to mini and I am extremely excited! The wait is agonizing! My mini is currently on the carrier heading to the port of exit. I hope that it makes it there in time for the next vessel and join the rest of your babies that are already at the port! Does anyone have any idea when the next vessel will arrive and how long it will be on the vessel (I am in California)? Thanks for sharing all of your experiences and research on this thread!

there is a chronology that shows about 30 days from Bremerhaven, Germany to Port Hueneme, CA where BMW/MINI are offloaded in California. Then a few more days to get through the VDC and be trucked to dealer (assuming all goes well...). Hope this helps.

Mine's still stubbornly saying that it's in the paint shop and expected to be complete today.. talked to my MA (actually in a fit of rage about the mini NEXT warranty on my other car) and he tried to console me that the car should be here in three weeks. Which still seems like a long time...

I'm also in N. Cal and our CM has just been finished in Graz. At this site:

I got a text from my Mini Person today! I'm pretty lucky she is really on the ball! Per her system, Rupert is in the paint shop! Yay!! My finished production date is estimated the 23rd! She says the Countryman tracking system isn't as current as the other Mini's factories because it's a new-ish system so our dates and info might be a little behind so Rupert might be a little further along than it says! I like the sound of this! So I'm still hoping for a mid Feb delivery!!!

MA just told me mine is due in on the 24th in Cali. I just looked up the ship and they are due to arrive on 28th now, I think Im on the Morning Composer. MA also told me it takes about 2 weeks to get to the dealer once it gets to the port so I got another 3-4 weeks. So all in all it will be really close to the 90 days the MA told me when I ordered.

I think our minis are within days of each other rfath. I have tried to keep my contact to my MA to once/week and he thinks I'm impatient (and hasn't told me anything I haven't already figured out from this site). its great! love it.
I was told by the ask mini rep yesterday that my car needs to go through quality inspection and is then heading for a ship... I haven't had any luck with the vin tracking either but figure its too early. I will pick mine up in NY/NJ - so based on the schedules on this site: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...RouteSearch.do
I figured out that there is a ship leaving on 1/24 and another on 2/1 Toronto --- I'm thinking the probability of making the 1/24 ship is low since one of the blogs says 1-3 days for inspection then 3-6 days to get to the port lot and then it could sit at port 1-3 days to over a week depending on the carrier vessel schedule. So even 2/1 could be optimistic?
Once its on a boat the link others have pointed to for tracking the boat is super cool! I had no idea you could get this level of info! and look forward to using it! http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...m=2&level1=140
Being able to see some level of info has made the wait seem a little shorter and less far away for me. I wish mini had a pick up program like BMW or Volvo, I wouldn't have minded going to Austria!

Awesome! My last few VIN are 2955 Since we have really similar cars (all4 and manual and all) we should have close numbers since we are only a day, if that, apart. Does that help? I'm guessing even being done tomorrow (best case scenario) there is no way he'd get on either the 25th or 26th boat so thinking Feb 1st it is. My MiniPerson is still very optimistic of a mid Feb delivery! I guess she'd know best!

My MiniChick! (I can't bring myself to call her MA) texted me today! I'm waiting for a boat!! Well Rupert's waiting for a boat!!! I'm crossing my fingers and toes and legs and eyes and arms and really anything else that can be crossed that he'll make it on the boat for the 26th departure!!!!!
