Hi Everyone!! I hope this is the right place to post this, but I just placed an order for my new Mini, Lester. The dealer said it will be 75 days before he arrives, oy! So long, but so worth it! They were able to bump one of their models for mine, so I hve a production number...but that's it so far. Oh, and he is Oxford Green, with a white roof, white stripes, Mini connect, Nav, Leather Lounge and so much more. Oh he's so cute and perfect! I can't wait!

I have to say I've just read all 60 pages of this thread and can I just say it's so nice to have found a place to obsess about my upcoming mini arrival. I'm excited for all of you and can't wait to share the arrival of mine with you when he arrives like you have.

That Yellow is actually very soothing...had mix feeling just lookinb at the color swatch but i am definitely diggin it.

 

So many lovely colors! It made it a really hard choice.

Okay, I'll admit that I'm cheap and didn't want to spend another $500 for a color. But surf blue was awfully tempting. REALLY AWFULLY TEMPTING.

And I wish I'd've gotten the anthracite headliner. Ohwell! I'll just have to drive hard enough that I don't have time to look around

Got my VIN this morning! Finally - its been over three weeks since I ordered her!!!

Anyone else notice the options list on the review order page is now empty???? Whats up with that?

You have to scroll down with the arrows on the bar thing to the right of the "Factory Ordered Options" box. I thought the same thing one time too it should be all there...

 

I got mine yesterday after FOUR weeks! Yikes!!! We must both be in the same production cycle.

 

My option list blanked out at this stage too, but it came back after production was completed. My car is on the Bishu Highway, which is currently sailing from Baltimore to Brunswick, where it should arrive Friday and be unloaded. Hopefully I will have the car sometime next week!

 

Mine went away as well once it said "scheduled for production" but once it went "to the body shop" (according to ask mini) it all came back. So fret not!

 

Can anyone fill me in on how long from plant to port? (sorry if this has been answered before) mine is scheduled for completion tomorrow and am hoping to make one of the ships leaving early next week (hoping for the best, expecting the worst scenario )

 

And we are DEFINITELY on the Florida Highway of the K-Line. Tracking her now in the middle of the Atlantic sea! Estimated arrival date at dealer is March 18th! Saaweeeeeeet!

 

Hey Botero - yep it sure looks like we're getting cozy! I wonder if the delay was for a run of ALL4's - I see Froto13 was weeks behind us ordering and they already built that lucky son of a u know what's car!!!

I think you're on to something! Man that stings that I waited 4 weeks to even get the ball rolling. It must be that they were set up for all4 production or something? I'm just glad we're rolling now. I hope it's a quick production (end of next week?) and on to the next phase soon. I'm DYING for my CM too!

 

I have a lot of respect for you guys! If I had to wait as long as you guys I would have probably died. Literally. I got lucky and took over an order from my dealer, and it went into production quick, and I was loosing my mind during that process! Mad props to you guys!

[edit] ps my cm just endeared the actual production process Monday so once that happens it goes quickly! When the automated prompt changes from "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date" to "your car is in the body shop with an estimated date of completion of xx/xx/xxx" it is a great day!!!mi called back to make sure it was right!
