Wondering if anyone had any luck installing mud flaps on a Countryman with the JCW kit installed?
From search results I've gotten so far it's obvious that there is some sort of issue with the OEM part fitting on the aero kit, but I wonder if there is a modification that can be done to make it work.

I thought I would bump this thread to see if anything has changed on this issue.
I am considering the JCW body kit. But I am noticing now that my wider tires are kicking up road crud on the lower corners of the front doors and am considering some mud flaps to deal with it.
When people say that the JCW body kit and mud flaps won't work together, are they talking about the front flaps and the side skirts, the rear flaps and the rear kit, or both? Reason I ask is because I am actually not sure if I am going to do the rear kit; might just stick to the front lip and the side skirts.
Has anyone found a way to make the JCW body kit and mud flaps work together?

I went back later and got just the JCW front lip put on. I was going to do it myself, but the dealer did it all for me at no charge since I had some complications there on an earlier visit. From what I gathered in looking at the installation instructions and in reading others testimonies on here, it seems to be a fairly easy install.
Once I did that, I loved the look of the car even more. As much as I like the side skirts, I don't really think it would be worth time and $$$ of removing the mudguards, buying the side skirts, and then installing (or paying the dealer to install) them. At that point, why not just throw in the rear JCW bumper? You might as well have it uniform all the way around. It has a sportier/meaner appearance with the front lip and I still get to keep my mudguards.
You could try it at first. It's not like its going to cost you any more to buy the side skirts separately if you decide you want them later on.
You could also see if there's a way to install the side off-road optics kit. I've seen conflicting info on it. It looks really cool, but I'm told that it's only available on non-S versions... then I've heard that that only applies to the front optics kit... or just the rear optics kit... or the front AND rear optics kit... then I've heard you can do it all the way around... So I'm really not sure on that. Still, it might be a way to address the side skirts without removing the mudguards.
