Obviously I don't have the aero kit but I LOVE my mudflaps and they really keep dirt spray off the car. Hopefully you can find a way to incorporate them (or a different style).

Psyched you are picking up your car today. Can't wait to see pics!!!

JCW Kit does not go with Mud flaps...You should have gotten the Mud flaps w/o the JCW Kit.

Wondering if anyone had any luck installing mud flaps on a Countryman with the JCW kit installed?
From search results I've gotten so far it's obvious that there is some sort of issue with the OEM part fitting on the aero kit, but I wonder if there is a modification that can be done to make it work.

I thought I would bump this thread to see if anything has changed on this issue.

I am considering the JCW body kit. But I am noticing now that my wider tires are kicking up road crud on the lower corners of the front doors and am considering some mud flaps to deal with it.

When people say that the JCW body kit and mud flaps won't work together, are they talking about the front flaps and the side skirts, the rear flaps and the rear kit, or both? Reason I ask is because I am actually not sure if I am going to do the rear kit; might just stick to the front lip and the side skirts.

Has anyone found a way to make the JCW body kit and mud flaps work together?

I was in the same boat as you. I got the mudguards put on mine when I took delivery. I love the JCW Aero kit, but it was just more than I could afford to do at the time.

I went back later and got just the JCW front lip put on. I was going to do it myself, but the dealer did it all for me at no charge since I had some complications there on an earlier visit. From what I gathered in looking at the installation instructions and in reading others testimonies on here, it seems to be a fairly easy install.

Once I did that, I loved the look of the car even more. As much as I like the side skirts, I don't really think it would be worth time and $$$ of removing the mudguards, buying the side skirts, and then installing (or paying the dealer to install) them. At that point, why not just throw in the rear JCW bumper? You might as well have it uniform all the way around. It has a sportier/meaner appearance with the front lip and I still get to keep my mudguards.

You could try it at first. It's not like its going to cost you any more to buy the side skirts separately if you decide you want them later on.

You could also see if there's a way to install the side off-road optics kit. I've seen conflicting info on it. It looks really cool, but I'm told that it's only available on non-S versions... then I've heard that that only applies to the front optics kit... or just the rear optics kit... or the front AND rear optics kit... then I've heard you can do it all the way around... So I'm really not sure on that. Still, it might be a way to address the side skirts without removing the mudguards.

You can put the mudflaps on w/aero kit... they have to be redrilled & lowered to fit the front and the contour is not exact.. I can provide pics if you want...

As I said contour isn't exact, but they save the side of the car from debris.

Do you re-drill the mud flaps or the body kit?

He has not been on since 2015. That post was 2013.

I am almost willing to bet all that the mudflaps were redrilled in that case.

Yeah was kinda hoping it might pop up in his email, I’m trying to to fit them and it seems like the body kit has to be re drilled I’ve cut away the excess plastic just trying to figure out the holes etc
