Our previous 03 MCS was a great car, but living in Colorado we wanted something good in our climate and driving in the mountains in the winter. So we ordered her Countryman on 1 July 2012. Here are the Specs:

Congrats on the new build! I'm purchasing an All4 for the wife as well! Make sure to take / post pics!

 

I will definitely do that, you guys as well. Any dates yet on production?

 

My build was in December 2010. You guys will really love your MINI's. The All4 is great and you can feel it kick in when you hit a wet patch of road. I hope mine will never see ice or snow, but, Misty goes to the beach a couple of times a month to carry the boat.

Not yet. We are a military family, heading to Germany. So we are going to use Pentagon Auto Sales and defer our sales tax on the Mini. Hopefully we shall be placing our order soon

 

It takes just a little bit longer with the Pure Red. They have to find the exact shade of orange. I saw a couple of factory workers down at the supermarket looking at tangerines, grapefruits, carrots, oranges - - - it just takes a while.
