Really? I thought it was around $800 at the dealer. Maybe I'm wrong. The covers I think are for rock protection, mainly though.

On my Clubbie the Xenons were very focused and didn't pick up deer eyes off to the side well. The driving lights throw a wide beam and really pick up the eyes. The new Xenon's seem to pick upmamlittle more of the road.

I painted my covers Red. this time of year unless I go in early or stay really late I am driving in sunlight. A couple of months and off come the covers for dark commutes on rural roads.

Looking good Ehans! Congrats on finally getting your CMS. Can't wait to see it with the stripes.

I understand, but for me there were several issues:
  1. I needed sustenance and Trader Joes was in this parking lot, so my need to survive was priority
  2. I love my car, but I don't let my life be ruled by it. I'll take care of her of course, but she won't dictate where I will and will not go. I own my posessions, not the other way around.
  3. The spaces are pretty wide anyway. They are all the double-line with the additional 10-15 inches between cars

Thanks! Me either. It will likely be August at this point. That's ok. It will be like a present when it happens.

All the credit for the headlights goes to Umnitza. I knew what I wanted (designed it) and they made it happen. I then had the Joey mod done by another place Performance Image....where all of my other mods took place. Both shops are in Concord, Ca.

Here's my early birthday present to myself. It was a trade in at Lexus of Stevens Creek and is only about 10 months old. The previous owners bought it from Mini up the street, drove it for 6 months then traded it in for a Lexus, where it sat on the lot for a month and a half.

2013 Countryman S
7403 miles
Automatic
Mini Connect with Sat Nav
Harmon/Kardon stereo
Automatic climate control
Rear parking control
Black Lounge Leather seats
Panoramic moon roof
Anthracite headliner
Sport package
Center arm rest
Heated seats
Bonnet strips
Black driving lamps
Limo black tinted rear windows
Auto wipers and adaptive Xenon headlights
Front fog lamps

all for $25,998 + tax

I've only had it for a week but it's a blast to drive. I went through my dealer tank of gas in four days from jamming it around.

Thanks PureWorks. Were your headlight trim rings already matte black or did you give them the plasticoat treatment? I think that's going to be my next little project.

Great CM pictures everyone...

I'm in the process of coming back to MINI with a CM
I need a little more space than my past Cooper S Convertible so the CM is the perfect fit.

I'm in love with this color option and personally I think the CM looks best in white for sure..!

My only concern is if I can do the red roof without going the JCW route although I will be ordering with the JCW appearance package.

Paint or vinyl?
Any ideas?

thanks,
Charles

wasn't happy that my rear stripe was cut, took my Eleanore into dealer's today and they relaid the rear stripes with her stamp over the top.
they even took off the mini boot lock and laid 'em sexy like
