true blue seems not very popular in America hur??
Btw i'm currently waiting my "true blue" MC
I agree, which makes me even happier I went with it. It seemed the most fun, MINI-like color to me. I had a chili red hardtop, and loved the color, but was disappointed in the pure red color for the countryman. Seems they were shooting for a different demographic when choosing the colors for the countryman. The grays, silvers, black, brown and white are all very nice and classy looking. But what appealed to me about MINI in the first place was the 'quirkiness' of the brand. I would still be in a hardtop if not for the addition of a third kid, so I needed just a little extra room, but still wanted to maintain that original quirkiness.
Like all of the MINI colors, they must be seen in person to really understand it. I think for some that picked other colors they were hoping it would be a 100% match in person, only to find out it was something different (pure red vs pure orange). IMO TB is the one color that looks better in person than on the MINI showroom color board. It's even brighter and really stands out solid blue without any other colors mixed in.

I couldn't agree more! Anyone buying one MUST see the colors before buying! They don't look anything like what they look like on the configurator, or the showroom color board. They really need to be seen in different lights to get a full appreciation of them. I never really was a fan of blue cars, but fell in love with the True Blue color when I saw it. I liked the Surf Blue too, and almost went with it because you could get the Surf Blue interior color line. But I just liked the True Blue just a bit more.
Seems to me that the true blue club is the smallest of all the CM colors on here, at least judging by the number of posts in each club. It was my favorite after seeing all of the colors in person. The more 'refined' colors (like the grays, browns, blacks, whites, silvers) are all very nice. But what originally attracted me to MINI (I had a 2003 chili red hardtop) is the 'quirkyness' and 'fun factor' of the car, and true blue captured that the most for me. I've never really been a blue car kind of person. I loved my chili red, but really wasn't a fan of the orange-ness of the pure red color on the countryman. The surf blue is pretty nice too, and I like the fact that you could get the surf blue door panels if you ordered that color, but the true blue appealed to me just a little bit more. But I'm sure everyone has their own reasons for liking the colors and color combinations they chose, which is what makes MINI so unique and great.
I totally agree with you! I don't understand why True Blue is not popular. To me, it's so bright and bold and represents everything that is MINI. I love my True Blue. He's a real head turner!

Great looking car, Girl from Oz! Can't wait to get mine, starting to get impatient! I will post lots of pictures when I do finally pick it up.
Mine just got off the truck yesterday. I can't pick up until Tuesday, but I was able to drive by and snap some pics with my iPad. They are in my gallery if anyone is interested. I will take some better ones once I pick it up.
Joe, is the right rear tow hook cover missing from your car?
I have no idea, I saw it for a total of about 2 minutes, and wouldn't even know what to look for. I'll have to look closely at my pictures now to see what you're talking about.
Wow, yeah, not sure how I missed that! I'll make sure to say something on Tuesday if it's not there. Thanks for pointing it out! I'm sure they can have another one sent.
It might even be that the car carrier driver popped it off to secure your car to the truck, threw it in the car and forgot to reinstall it when he took the car off the truck at the dealer.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It literally JUST got off the truck when I snapped the pictures. I saw it on the truck as I drove by the dealer going southbound on rt. 35, and by the time I made the u-turn and got to the dealer the truck was gone already.
