R60 Official Oxford Green Owners Club

Wow! I had to go back a few pages to find this thread. I guess there are only a select few of us on here. I just ordered my Ox Mini I ordered it with the white roof and stripes, but I am seriously torn between that or the black roof and stripes. Does anyone have any good pictures of the hood with the green? I can't seem to find it and am not sure how visible they will be.
Thanks!!

If you look closely at the first picture in the set I posted here in January, you can see the black stripes on the hood. I never liked the look of the black glass in the sunroof with the white roof so I went with Black. The stripes are subtle but if you keep it clean and the sun is shinning like it does every day here in Colorado you can see them.
We need to start a Northern Colorado Oxford Green Countryman club. You will make at least 5.

One suggestion is to look at it at the Dealer before you have them put any kind of clear coat on the front. Then you could easily pull the stripes off and get different ones or leave them off entirely. Since I had the clear bra put on by the dealer I would have to pay to get that redone if I wanted to remove the stripes.

Thanks, the beige leather is awesome, comfortable and supportive. I got the chrome idea from someone else on this board, I'm pretty sure it was Don. Our pup does eat quite a bit, six cups of kibble a day, but hes worth it. Super laid back and loves going for rides. It's funny seeing his big head poking out the window.
Can't wait till the car is past the break in period, though it does have plenty of pep up to that 4500 rpm mark.

I know some complain that it's not British Racing Green, however this Oxford Green is quite beautiful... If I'd ordered mine, I'd probably have gone the all one color route...but there she was and how could I resist?
We wanted the bench seats from the moment we heard they were going to offer them...and our dog is very happy with them. The only thing I wish I had on this MINI is xenons... I've got them on my '10 MC and have always had them. I may have to get the driving lights down the line.
Although not the same experience as a Cooper, the Countryman is a great car, still very MINI like and extremely comfortable. Couldn't be happier with the decision! And now we can get up the driveway come winter!
