Hey folks! First post on the forums; we just got word that our '13 Oxford Green CMS All4 should be ready to pickup next Thursday. Can't wait! The dealer's going to install the JCW front splitter as well, thanks to some of the pics I've seen on this thread. Thanks for the ideas, and definitely keep the pics coming. Longest. Six days. Ever. :-)

Congrats to you maronoff and to you, as well, Dog Boy.

I've been a MINI owner since '03 and even though I still love my MINI, the Countryman is a fantastic bigger, more comfortable and fun MINI to drive...the all four is why we bought ours and it hasn't disappointed!

Have fun and post your pix!

Thanks all. Question for group. We're not exactly sure if our hood stripes will be installed at the factory or at the dealer. (The MA was more confused than we were). When the factory installs the stripe, is the stripe under the clear coat or on top? If it's on top, does it really matter where the stripe is installed?

Headliner

Hi folks. Sorry for all the questions. My OCD is working overtime... I was reading a few posts and got confused. With the standard black interior, what color is the headliner? I read a few posts say they ordered the black headliner instead of the standard beige so "everything would be black". Seems bizarre that a black interior would have a beige headliner. Do I need to add a black headliner to my order or did I just misunderstand?

We have the black interior with the beige headliner and feel if the black was chosen it would feel smaller without the contrast

We have one of both. A '12 sans sunroof with the grey/beige headliner and then the other has sunroof and the anthracite headliner. The grey/beige does seem ore spacious but the black makes it feel more sporty in my eyes. But yes you need to specify the anthracite headliner and I believe it's a $250 option.

Thanks Wobpb and Jimbo. I went back to the MINI builder and I completed missed the beige pillar. I'm going to talk to our MA and see if I can weasel a deal on the headliner. I'm not hopeful because they gave us a great discount already. Thanks again.

HI guys - We're into production!!! Hurray!! Do any of you have any experience with cargo liners? I'm looking at Pooch Style but I don't see many other options. The OEM liner isn't quite what we're looking for.

I have the mini oem protective rear cover (the one sits in back seat) and I'm happy with it. I have 45 lb lab mix and she has plenty of room. The cover hooks onto the front and rear seat head rests and has zippers that match the three folding sections of the back so there are options if you need carry stuff with a seat down.

The best part is that it also protects the door panels. It is pricey though.

Thanks for the info. Is that the one that also covers the back doors too? Does that mean you can't get anything out of the back doors with the cargo liner installed? Any chance you could post a pic? Thanks again.

DPD - I haven't been able to find a liner with zippers like you describe. The only OEM liner I found looks like 1 solid piece. Do you have a part number? Thx.

I don't have the invoice any longer but my MA said it is 51472179302 19. As far as I know there is only one for the back seat.

Here's a pic from amazon (iPhone app not letting me upload my own pic)... The red trim is where the zippers are and they align to where the bench seat folds down.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...w_bottom_links

I normally don't have back seat passengers so I normally just leave it in.

Pulling out of a parking space and I heard what sounded like a firecracker! I got out and looked to see if there was any damage to my vehicle. I didn't see anything. The next day I notice a crack going down the middle of my windshield. As I am driving, I can see the crack walking cross the windshield. Had it replaced yesterday, but now I have to get the top tinted again.

Steering column

Hey guys - can someone do me a favor? Look behind the accelerator pedal and slightly up. Do you see an exposed metal shaft coming from the steering column that extends down and then continues down into the floor. It almost looks unfinished and I'm just checking to see if it's supposed to be that way. Thanks.
