Sorry for not responding earlier, was away for a couple of days. No, I had not noticed that, and we received a email from our MA telling us the car would arrive at the VPC on the 30th (which we already knew), and that we could expect to take delivery the following week.

 

Okay, I am thinking my CM must be on the Dover Highway, my MA says it should be at the processing center by the 7th, and the Dover Highway arrives in Brunswick on the 6th, so here is hoping before the middle of June!

 

My wife's CM All4 is on the Medea. Looking forward to picking it up in early June. I am not looking forward to picking rims for it, it is worse than shoe shopping.

The Medea is approaching Halifax. You can see the ship's position on marinetraffic.com again, whereas you could not when it was mid-ocean.

Quite a coincidence! MCJoe and I both have CM's on the Medea, and we both bought our cars at Monmouth too. Other than you, we have not been able to find any other forum participants (CM or other) that have cars on the Medea.

 

Yes, very odd that the only 3 people on this forum who say they have cars on the Medea all ordered from Monmouth.

 

Just saw that the Medea has left Halifax, and is on its way to NY (NJ). Hopefully it will be here by the 30th, not the 31st as it says.

It is now showing up on marinetraffic.com. According to that site, the ETA in NY is tomorrow, 10:00 UTC, which is 6am our time.

 

I'm hoping for a quick stay at the VDC. I didn't order many options on the car, do you know if bonnet stripes are put on over here, or at the factory?

 

Just looked at marinetraffic and I still can't find it. Not sure of the answer on the stripes.

 

Yes, it was there at the time of my post, but when I checked an hour or two later it was not there.

 

I just tracked it on marinetraffic.com, and it is in range of NY/NJ! Looks like I could almost swim to it (if I could swim!). I wasn't able to find it all morning, but it should be landing soon.

 

Yep, I see it too, just off Jones Beach on Long Island now. I would say given it's speed and assuming it needs to slow in NY Harbor, it will arrive in Jersey City this evening....IT'S ABOUT TIME!

 

Watched it pass under the Verrazzano bridge, about to watch it pull into port!

According to the WW website, our car is "off the boat"...shows a "liner release" at 7:56 this morning.

 

I didn't even think to check the WW website after docking, but you're right, says "Customs Release" at 00:00 and "Liner Release" at 7:56.

 

Now, just waiting for the MA to call and say it's there!

 

I would call him Monday and ask if you have not heard. Funny, sounds like our cars will even be on the same truck...Brian, too.

 

Nah, I'm not gonna bug him, I'm sure I'll get a call or email when it gets there. I feel like I've been obsessive-compulsive enough throughout this whole process, and feel better knowing it is at least in the state. Tomorrow will mark 10 weeks from the day I ordered, I'm hoping it is there tomorrow, don't want to go into week 11!
