engine temp

Yesterday I drove through the Hill country in central Texas. The outside temperature was 80-90F. The trip was 300 or so miles.
My All4S-automatic now has 10,000 miles and I changed the oil at 5K and 10K prior to the trip.
When I brought the car home in November I added one pint of Redline Water Wetter.

I had the Mini connected app hooked up and was keeping and eye on the coolant temp and torque as I went through the hills and around the corners (great fun). The temp stayed between 194 and 210. Really very good. Torque regularly hit 192 up the hills even though RPM's would be around 2500 in 6th. This car has plenty of power for my type of driving. Rip the corners and run about 5-10mph over the speed limit on the straights. I love this thing.

Mileage for the trip 26.2 mpg and that includes a 1 hour crawl down 71 through Austin. I have yet to have the recall done and almost hate to have them mess with the car. It has been picture perfect at this point, no overheating, no thermostat problem, and the secondary cooler for the recall has worked. I will get it done but unlike some, I am not looking forward to doing so.

I'm confused at your statement:

Your water temp is good, mine stays between 220-225 degrees.
