Not wanting to hijack this thread further, but yes, lots of parts of Oakland are very nice.
Still having lots of fun with our CM, even with the 17" Conti runflats. Just got a nice tint job done in time for summer.

Off topic, but I feel I need to defend Oakland.
Oakland is a city of 400,000 people spread over 56 square miles. It's a big city with big city problems and that's what you hear about. One trip in the hills driving through neighborhoods with unobstructed views of San Francisco and a night out in town is enough to enlighten most people about the positive aspects of the city. I'm fortunate enough to live in one of the "good" parts of town and for the past 12 years have enjoyed the diversity, access to miles of trails for running / biking, and of course the 15 minute drive to San Francisco (outside of rush hour.)
It's true that Oakland has a lot of terrifying areas with high crime, but the majority of the city is simply amazing.
