here is a picture of that new german racing rear bumper protector i installed the other day. it really is a well engineered product, and matched the rest of the black trim perfect. they are correct in there description,"its not a accessory-its a necessity" since i allready saw a scratch on the paint before i installed it.

Ok looking for some advice because I have looked all through different sites and threads and haven't found one....I've got a light white R60SX that I take delivery of this week...cant do so much chrome....Got black Xenon headlights and am wanting to do my rings....Black headlight rings don't look too bad with black lights, but I HATE the look of black rings on the back....has anyone done White Rings front and back on a CM? I can't find any images of any, but am really curious to see the look...

i don't think i've seen any blacked out rings on a light white that HAS boot stripes. i blacked out mine and i have boot stripes and think it ties them in better. if you're interested in pics i'll try to grab a few for you tonight. plus this weekend i'm blacking out the belt line which should tie them in better too.

back to your op.. IMHO you'd have to get the ring paint a dead match of the light white in order to look even half way decent, otherwise it will just look like they're the wrong color. try it with white plastidip since you can just peel it off to see if you'd be into the white on white thing. then consider making the jump if you like it. worst case scenario you can get a new set of front rings on ebay for 60 bucks.

Installed an Alta fresh air intake and a JCW Exhaust! So far sounds good. Hoping it gets a bit louder. Next thing will be the down pipe! Love this car!

Yah Lyle of VinylStyles in Cali has matched the light white so I know they color would be good, but don't wanna shell out the money if isnt what I really want, that's why I wasnt sure if anyone has seen one done before...i like the black head trim with black xenon but tail end looks awkward to me with black rings and no boot stripes....had an R56 that I had striped down the center a few years back and loved it, but letting it die with that car, no center stripes on the CM

I can take a better picture of the tail light rings later but here's a pic of my ride getting the exhaust installed. You can see the black rings and blacked out Mini badge in the photo. I think it looks MUCH better blacked out.

That front bumper with the LED's runs 126,000 yen, which converts to $1604.00. Ouch, that's an expensive body kit! That's without shipping as well....

It's the Krone Edition for anyone wondering.

Mini Genuine Parts UK quoted me 499 British pounds to ship an R56 JCW body kit to CA...not sure how much Duell will charge to ship from Japan.

YES, the DuelL AG body kit/parts are for the rich only. they have tons of stuff for the countryman and not one thing is priced reasonable. After parts, shipping, painting, installation your looking at easily over $6000.00. Thats just the front, rear bumpers and sideskirts. and thats not carbon fiber, just fiberglass. i dont want to even mention carbon fiber prices
