I painted my brake calipers today...was very easy and a fun Mod.

Here are a few pictures, I'll post up more when I get some daylight and dry weather. Loving the rain out here!!!

I also noticed that the oil pan gasket is leaking, not bad but it definitely needs to be replace.

She works for Volkswagen. The best I can hope for is a free shirt and some paint every now and then.

spent the last 2 days making a ceiling hoist for my cargo box. after about 3 prototypes it's still not perfect, but it gets the job done, gives me a place to store the box and makes it pretty east to put on and take off.

One year anniversary today and 16,200 miles. No problems and would love the car if it were not for... Oh well, that's another thread.

I stopped by some dealers to kick tires but then went to the DMV to renew the registration which means I'm signed up for another year or at least several more months.

Sirius was a tougher decicison. At this stage in a relationship with previous cars I have always checked the box for the longest time period with the largest savings. I normally get the lifetime which used to be about the same cost as 36 months and is a plus when selling, but ironically that option was not offered. Since I don't know what the future will bring because of the damned c _ _ _ _ h, I only renewed for 12 months.

 

Just got 35% tint all around, looks great. for those contemplating tint and what % i think 35 all around looks right on. Still not sure why it does not come factory with the back tinted anyway.

 

I had new 104mm exhaust tips installed, I also have the down pipe and chip tuning now and jcw fromt aero thing

 

Drove in another snow storm after moonlight snowshoe around Tahoe. The All4 and snow tire combo is awesome. Best snow car I've ever had.

 

It's 25 front 35 back... FL limits.
