The back flaps there's 2 pins that get broken the one under the car in the back is the worst. once that is removed your committed. The tools needed are a 1/4 drive, 8mm socket, a pair of pliers or channel locks, and a couple of flat head screw drivers. What I did was used a bucket or hot soapy water and a rag to clean all around where the mud flap would sit then dried it and then wiped it with rubbing alcohol to get rid of any wax or coating on the plastic. then I removed the under plastic pin and the bolts needed for the guard. I then wiped the area with the wipe that came with the rear guards. I found getting the under bolt in first worked out the best for me. The clips that come with the guards do not slide over the under brace that the bottom of the guard attaches to. Had to set the clip on top of the brace worked fine. Just get that one started and then have guard in place and add the other bolts with washers and the one pin thenjust snug it all up. good luck

Yes, from Sewell. Good prices and fast shipping. Just got the side vents in too, which I will install today. My local dealership is a rip off...they tried to charge me $120 for one of the front pressure lips (flap hanging down in front of front tires). Found it on Sewell for less than $9. Now looking for a different dealership for service.

Got my front mud guards installed (thanks for the input, Mr Smooth) First one took some time...took a bit trying to get those plastic tabs out, but figured the easiest thing to do was to drill them out. Wrapped up the second one in about 10 minutes.

Will attempt the rears tomorrow..maybe.

The front ones are easy, now the back took a bit. But if you find you'd like some help give a holler, I'm free this weekend.

Thanks for the offer. Will probably be tomorrow or Wednesday night. Might take a look later tonight to get a sense of the space and the requirements for not taking off the wheel.

ECS, thanks and exactly what I'm talking about...you have it for $8 and my dealer tries to charge me $120. Pretty stupid in the day of internet searches. Already ordered the plugs as I will install myself, but looking for a new dealer for normal service since I don't trust them now. I ordered from Sewell because your side vents showed not in stock until next week. Next time

Thanks, you are welcome.

The quicker you order things, the quicker we can try to get them in. Sometimes we can get them sooner, it just depends what it is.

Also we are here to help with questions and such.

Post up some pics when you get it done. Helps out people with the same issues.

Thanks again.

Fiat 500L vs CM

I noticed a new Fiat 500L parked in the parking lot today. I could not resist but to snap a photo. Similar shape and size.

I should have said, they both have four doors and a hatch. Those Fiats are certainly ugly!

Front end alignment to correct the slight drift to the right. The right front toe was way off. Gotta love pot holes!

No More Run Flats...Until Spring

Replaced the OEM run flats with Extreme Contact DWS and ordered the MB collapsable spare and adapter kit.

Should get one more warm season out of the run flats, but will definitely enjoy the traction this winter.

Got rid of the horrible run flats...should have done it sooner. Thought it only appropriate to get Coopers (Zeon RS3-A).
