I had the NM short shifter and WMW rear sway bar installed! Much better! Quick question for those that have upgraded the sway bar...my left rear suspension is now a little creaky slow speeds; does the bar just need to be "broken in" or should I take it back to the shop and have them look at it? I had never heard any creaky noises with the stock set-up during break-in or cold weather.

My Countryman is a non-S and came with the plain black pedals. I ordered the S stainless pedal upgrade kit from ECS Tuning. Installation was a breeze and literally took 5 minutes total. Believe it or not, it totally changes the look of the interior. Also added a BlackJack glove box latch cover from GoBadges to match the other door handles on the interior, and added the MINI short antenna.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any "before" pics. Once I get a chance a little later, I'll grab a few "after" pics of the pedals installed and will post them up here.

The kit was amazingly easy to install. Mine's an auto, so there were only 3 pieces. The brake pedal pad slips off, and the new one just slips on. The dead pedal is pried out with a screwdriver, and the new one snaps right in. The accelerator pedal module gets removed by taking out one torx screw. There's a simple wiring harness to unclip and clip onto the new module and then the torx screw is reinstalled. Super easy. I followed a tip (whether true or not) to leave the driver's door open for 5 minutes prior to doing the accelerator pedal, in order to avoid a CEL.

I think there was not enough grease applied between the bushings and the bar.

I had this exact problem when I had my rear ASB installed. driving out of their parking lot at low speeds sounded like I was driving with a suspension from a 1940's Ford-very creaky.

They got back up in there and really lathered the grease on, and no more squeaks. Has been completely quiet for about 5000 miles now.

So they had to take the bushings off? I did end up taking the car back in about a week ago and they applied more grease, but it's still noisy.

Today, I took the second cat and resonator out and replaced with a 18" vibrant resonator.

I didn't want it to be too much louder so this ended up being the perfect sound increase and tone for me. I will be welding on 4" double wall angle tips later this week.

Yes, they pulled the bushings and packed more grease in them and it was quiet as a mouse after that.

Got my windows tinted today. Went with a nano-ceramic from Madico, 35 front 20 rear. Now for some stripes... I'm thinking flat black would look good.

Ordered new wheels. Five AD S6 F with gunmetal finish in size 19x8", +40mm offset. Going to go with 225/40-19 tires since that's the size used on the 19" JCW wheels, probably General G-MAX AS03.

I've been thinking about doing the same with a performance resonator, It would be nice to hear what it sounds like.

Had replacement "black line" headlight rings installed at the dealer after one of my original "black line" rings flew off while I was driving on the freeway at night and the other one turned out to be loose as well. Never heard of such a thing, but I guess there is a first time for everything.

It sounds a lot better for sure. Not as loud as not putting a resonator in its place. It's got a little drone on the highway while cruising greater than 2500 rpm. I'd like to hear how a longer resonator would sound. The one I have is 18". It's clamped in place, so I might just try it.

Do you have the standard stereo or the Harman/Kardon system? How hard was it to add?

Went in for the second dealer service. Wasn't too appreciative of the SA at Mini of Marin treating me like I don't know shinola about cars.
There was six issues that needed to be looked at, all minor stuff. Loved all of the excuses as to why these were happening. When I pointed out specific reasons/examples he changed his tune. But when the car was picked up by my wife on the service order receipt he put the same lame answers he gave when the car was dropped off.
The last two times my car went in there I was really satisfied with the service. But this time was not so great.
Oh well I'm going to be out of the time line for the next free service so I will take it to the local independent Mini shop who has always done a great job.
