R60 What did you do to your Countryman TODAY?

Spent my hour ride home from work trying to diagnose a rattle I can hear from what I believe to be the center console...or underneath it. If something were to have fallen into my NM short shifter box, would I've able to hear it in the cabin? I haven't found anything in any of the doors or glovebox, underneath the seats (in the tracks), in the armrest, center rail or cup holders. Sounds almost like a marble rolling on some plastic...and I perceive several inches of travel during turns and hard acceleration/deceleration.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a few days, but FINALLY got make sway bar to stop squeaking (after a trip to a third mechanic). Also installed some new lights in the side indicators to get rid of the "yolk"; have lights for the front indicators too which will probably be installed Monday during the snow storm.

Jim Reid (91Design www.nineonedesign.com) came highly recommended by my SA at Mini of Plano. I called him and told him what I was wanting, and he made it happen. Great guy to work with . I'm going to have him extend the stripes down the front and rear bumper in the next few weeks.

if you have yellow turn lense then use bulb P21W (1156) (BA15s)
if you have clear turn lense then use bulb PY21W (7507) (BAU15s)
note the difference in the pins on the side of the base
no mention i could find of dual contact bulbs

I also got new stripes installed. I chose black which matches the roof.
Please excuse the steel wheels I only use them with my winter tires. At the end of march I will put back on my turbo fan summer wheels.
Looks sweet. Personally I love 'steelies' - especially as an alternate wheel set. Get those bad-boys powder coated this summer (body color or black) and you almost not want to pull them off after next winter, lol.
BTW - I have a light white with those stipes and anthracite colored Turbofans, very sharp. Looking to get some steelies for winter tires next winter.
Oh, yeah and what I did today: an early morning run on isolated 'back'-roads had my JB+ed All4 loafing along in the 120's, happy and loving the exercise.

Sorry to sound like a cynic … but very few SA's are actually on your side. If you find one that is, stick with 'em! Worth their weight in gold

Remember that a service writer's job isn't to fix your problem. It's to sell profitable service, and secondarily filter out deniable warranty claims. They don't work for you. It's a sales role, plain and simple. Sorry to sound like a cynic … but very few SA's are actually on your side. If you find one that is, stick with 'em! The center hub caps are already on its way. Hopefully they will arrive this week
Another important fact: according to official MINI wheel configurator snow chains can only be used with 195/60 R16 winter tires on steel wheels. That's why I decided to go with these wheels.

Also ran across this link: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lbs-xenon.html for others that have the same bulb type...very interesting that there are different types for the same vehicle.
On that note, I have (2) #7506 (yellow flash with light blue finish) bulbs for sale. PM me if interested. Will sell for less than what I paid.
