Swapped my wheels over to my winter set, should have been straight forward but..
1. MINI managed to massively over tighten the wheel bolts on two wheels - my normal 19" breaker bar wasn't budging them, the 24" one got the job done
2. MINI cost cut and didn't bother with the jacking cups that the R56 has - a quick search here put me right and with a jack pad and some 4x2 timber i managed to get them swapped over
Took twice the time it should have done, but at least the winters are on before the forecast snow this evening

#2 is right here: Think it was for the pinch weld already being there maybe. Glad you got it done.

Akebono Pads
Centric Rotors
Sensor
Front parts = 200
Labor, fluid, environmental fee = 150
350 vs. dealer $570 price for better brakes
Wheel lock key from Mini failed and mechanic had to work at getting those front wheels off. He is going to try and weld the damn thing back together and then I'm going to go back to stock lug nuts all around. He also found the ABS front sensor rubbing against the front tires, which were bought from Mini dealer in October. So we assume they must have knocked the sensor loose at that time. He was able to tape up the sensor for the time being as it had not worn through all the way yet.

Not sure yet. Don't want to overly green it. When I first got it I had the red JCW stripes, side stripes, mirror caps and ducts and grew tired of it super quick. I wanted something a little more subtle with color and a few accents. I may get some green vinyl and see how it looks though. I do plan on making the 4 in ALL4 and the S green though.

Yea, don't think you could mod it for the auto , since the auto has a trigger button to select the gears.

I've debated adding those stripes (I too have the mirrors and scuttles as well as side stripes and painted front brake ducts), but likewise think it may end up being too green.

This is a "Zeta Products Inc Rear Bumper Protector", $46 shipped from Amazon, sold by Zeta direct. Ships in flat box with two alcohol wipes and instructions.
The instructions recommend that you do a trial run placement before removing tape backing, and mark where to install the protector with masking tape (as shown below):
Here it is installed. It's very secure.
Here is a closeup of the product. It doesn't fit the contour of the bumper perfectly, but it's close enough, and I think it looks good. The color matches the other black trim on the car.
